How is the degree organised ?
The lessons leading to the DE in skiing - national alpine ski instructor, include a part common to all mountain sports professions (FGCMEEESM) and an important part specific to skiing.
This is focused on preparing for the job of ski instructor and includes lessons that mainly relate to the acquisition of technical skills, the development of teaching skills, the approach to activities on snow in all its forms, supervision of off-piste skiing outside the glacier zone and risk management in snowy mountain environments.
The graduation path includes 5 key stages:
>> The Access Technical Test: timed slalom descent
>> The Preparatory Cycle: training, series of tests and interview
>> The Technical Event (or Eurotest): timed alpine skiing giant slalom
>> The First Cycle: training and set of tests
>> The Second Cycle: training and set of tests
