Horse sledding

Comfortably installed in the sled, enjoy a moment of sweetness with our Comtois named Golda.
Take a sleigh ride on the Tignes le lac plateau and admire the mountain scenery.
A hot drink keeps you warm, let yourself be tempted!

Duration daylight session : 20 minutes of sledging + 10 minutes of welcome - end of the activity

Duration noctural session : 30 minutes of sledging + 10 minutes of welcome - end of the activity

Participation conditions

• Horse sledding is accessible from 3 months old
• Pregnant women are able to participate in this activity
• The activity is free of charge to children up to 2 years old
• Warm clothing such as ski clothes with snow boot, a beanie and gloves 

Insurance info and cancellation

• Flexible Sales Conditions

• Insurance: Insurance is strongly recommended. There are 2 types of individual insurance to which you can subscribe when finalising your reservation (or in our offices).
  1. Cancellation:
  - This insurance covers you in the event of illness or accident preventing you from participating in your sporting activity (this must be certified by a doctor).
  - All COVID related causes are excluded.
  2. Assurski in case of an accident:
  - Assurski covers you for up to €25,000 for rescue costs in the event of a skiing accident (including off-piste) and all other snow sports.
  - No advance payment required for rescue services, including medical repatriation.
  -  Lift pass refunded up to the value of 200€
  - Ski lessons refunded up to the value of 400€

And the horse in all of this?

Golda spend the winter at the Lavachet stable with a poney.
Only one horse pulls the sled, so they alternate depending on their mood and shape!
They are sociable animals, two is better, so they never spend too much time alone.
Emy pampers them, visit them during the day, they are between the stable and the outdoor park, according to their appearance.
