Nature activity in a high mountain panorama!🎣
Live a family or friends experience in a magical setting! Lac du Chardonnet is located at an altitude of 2384m, west of Tignes, at the gates of the Vanoise National Park.
Try it, take the fishing rods in hand and bait the rainbow trout or brook salmon that feed the lake. If you are experienced, or lucky, you can enjoy a grilled on the barbecue (available on site).
The activity is open to everyone, whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler. Our on-site supervisor can help you take your first steps as a fisherman. Children aged 7 and over are welcome to join in or continue their learning.
➡️ The morning pass
If you're an early riser, you can either make the ascent on foot or take the first chairlift from Palafour for this first slot.
➡️ The family pass
For those who take the time to have breakfast and prepare their picnic... the 12 noon slot is for you!
📍 This superb site is accessible by three routes:
- Hiking trail from Tignes le Lac or Tignes Val Claret (300m rise in altitude) allow between 1h and 1h30 for the walk, depending on your physical condition
- The Palafour chairlift from Tignes le Lac, then a descent on foot to the lake, approximately 1 hour in total
As a reward, an unbeatable view over the lake of Tignes... At the end of the activity, the only way to get down is to walk!
💡 Did you know ?
There is not one, but two Chardonnet lakes! The fishing site is at the smallest lake, the one leading down to the Tignes le Lac lake (via the Combe des militaires). . You'll see our dome right next to it...
