About the activity
Develop at your own pace and learn with a qualified instructor in a friendly atmosphere!
This level is aimed at complete beginners or for those who have practiced for a few hours, adults and children from 8 year old.
The goal for the week is to independently descend easy slopes.
You will learn to :
- Be autonomous with the snowboard : to trap in and out of the bindings, to get up from a seated position
- Manoeuvre the board on the flat in a straight line with one-foot strapped in
- Use chair lifts alone
- Descend frontside and backside using a "falling leaf"
- Learn front and backside turns on blue slopes
- Be safe on the slopes (knowing how to stop)

Participation conditions
- The Beginner course is accessible to adults and children from 8 years old (we do not recommend trying snowboarding before this age, except for example if a child is already a very good skier)
- We recommend that you be in good physical condition to make the most of this activity
Our method
- Instructors will harmonise groups at the start of the week and possibly change participants groups during the course of the week
- Keeping a low number of participants allows individual and personalised instructor advice whilst maintaining a group dynamic to make headway in progressing (6 person per group)
- All our instructors speak fluent English
