AN UNFORGETTABLE DESCENT FROM THE AIGUILLE DU MIDI 🚠
Experience the Vallée Blanche in the heart of an idyllic landscape just a stone's throw from Mont-Blanc! It's an exceptional off-piste ski descent of over 20 km made in total confidence thanks to the accompaniment of our expert guides! If you're a good skier and at ease on all types of snow, this offer is for you!
Two packages are available:
Group outings: 4 to 6 people
Private outing: from 1 to 4 people maximum
To make sure you get the most out of your activity, here's the program and the rules to follow:
Level required: You don't need to be an expert, but you should be able to ski off-piste on all types of snow, and be comfortable and confident enough to enjoy the experience without penalizing the group.
If you're not sure of your level, we recommend you take the "Morning private ski lesson" session.
Duration: 1 day
Meeting point: Ski Set Aiguille du Midi sports store.
Details of the day's program:
🏬 Meet at 8:00 am with your guide at the Ski Set Aiguille du Midi sports store.
If you choose the private outing, we can arrange your transfer from your place of residence. Quote on request.
🚠 Ascent with the Aiguille du Midi cable car to reach the finish at 3,842 meters above sea level.
💬 Equipment and technical briefing before setting off on the itinerary: put on your crampons and get ready for the descent of the Aiguille du Midi ridge.
(Caution: the ridge can be tricky for those prone to vertigo).
🏔️ Ski or snowboard down the Vallée Blanche (mix of 2 disciplines possible). This descent can take between 2 and 5 hours, depending on snow conditions, weather and your level. The guide will choose the best itinerary according to all these parameters.
⛷️ Return to Chamonix on skis, snow conditions permitting, or take the Montenvers train back down to the resort.
(Please note: to reach the train departure station, climb a staircase of around 500 steps, then take the gondola back up).
