Belle au Bois canyoning in Megève

What's the canyon like? La Belle au Bois offers a wide range of SENSATIONAL obstacles: slides, jumps, abseils up to 30 meters high, the perfect recipe for adventure lovers! The descent is over a kilometer long, with an 80-meter vertical drop... You'll need half a day to do it all, and be sure to see every nook and cranny.

Who is this canyon for? If you're a THRILL-SEEKER OR AN ADVENTURER, you'll love it here in Megeve, with your friends, for an EVJF or with your teenagers who are bursting with energy. 

What level of experience do I need⚡? For committed canyoning like this, you need to be in good physical condition and comfortable with the sport. Of course, you also need to be comfortable in the water and know how to swim. 

What are the minimum ages? Children must be at least 12 YEARS OLD, as the reminders are quite important and require you to already be comfortable in the water 💦

Where is this canyon📍? The Belle au bois canyon is located in Megève, on the Planay river. It's 1 hour from Annecy and Geneva and 30 minutes from Chamonix.

What's this canyon like? The canyon is divided into two parts: a more challenging start with abseils and waterfalls, and a more playful second part, accessible via a course with numerous slides. For the more adventurous, the whole canyon is a real treat, and for the younger or more novice, you can try out the “toboggan” part of the canyon.

Who's this canyon for? In fact, it's the one we recommend most for the FAMILIES. For young and old alike, the WILD & PLAYFUL side of this canyon is sure to please everyone. A family offer is available on Evolution 2 Megève and Saint-Gervais! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

What level of experience do I need⚡? There are no prerequisites for this canyon, which is suitable for children and requires no particular physical condition. On the other hand, it's always essential to know how to swim!

From what age? From the AGE OF 6, the toboggan section is accessible to you, but you'll need to be 10 to be able to do the whole thing!

Where is this canyon📍? The canyon de la balme is located on the road leading up to Le Carroz d'arraches, 20 minutes from Megève and Saint-Gervais and 1 hour from Annnecy and Geneva.

What's this canyon like? As sensational as it is wild, this canyon ranks by far among the best canyons in Haute-Savoie. Renowned for its 60 METER WATERFALL and other vertigo-inducing abseils, canyoning at Angon is the perfect way to push back your limits and discover pure adventure... 

Who is this canyon for? Ideal for groups of friends, this canyon is sure to please everyone...Our main aim is for you to enjoy your experience, so if certain obstacles put you off too much, there are always escape routes enabling you to get around them, so if your group is very HETEROGENEOUS, some want fun and others thrills, don't panic, there's something for everyone! 🤝

What level do I need? As long as you're comfortable in the water, know how to swim and aren't too sedentary, a canyoning trip at Angon is within your grasp.

How old do you have to be? You'll need to be at LEAST 12 to enjoy this challenging canyon...

Where is this canyon📍? This canyon is located near Annecy, close to the commune of Faverges. 

Our favorite part of the canyon 💘: even if it's a head-turning canyon, one playful, out-of-the-ordinary passage left its mark on this expedition! Between jumps, abseils and slides, we discovered the famous “letterbox”, a sort of slide passing under a boulder and ending in a siphon.... I can't describe it better, so it's up to you to find out...

Barberine's canyon

In our ranking of the best canyoning in Haute-Savoie, we inevitably find the Barberine canyon, located at the foot of Mont-Blanc, in Vallorcine, a commune in the Chamonix valley. This canyon has similar properties to the Balme canyon, where we have the opportunity to vary the pleasures thanks to a multi-purpose canyon: FUN, ADVENTURE & THRILLS.

What does this canyon look like? The canyon's multi-purpose design offers a breathtakingly holistic experience. You'll find jumps, abseiling, ziplining, river walking and swimming... A SPORTS package that's sure to win you over!💦

Who is this canyon for? For FAMILIES looking for an activity that's playful, spectacular, progressive, dynamic and fun. This canyoning route is often compared to the Balme canyon, which is also a family canyon. 

What level of experience do I need? Family-friendly and fun, this canyon requires that participants be in good physical condition, with no need to be athletic. 

From what age? This canyon is accessible from the AGE OF 10, for children who are comfortable in the water and know how to swim. 🥽

Where is this canyon📍? As mentioned above, this canyon is located in Vallorcine, a village 20/25 minutes from Chamonix.
